Vintage Antique Garnet Marcasite Emerald Sterling Silver Brooch / Pendant; Rose Bouquet Cluster STUNNING! 1 5/8" in height and 1" wide. Incredibly gorgeous and loaded with stones. There are 4 big garnet clusters and lots of other garnet stones all over. There's a lot of craftsmanship here including an amazing lovely loop in the top back so this can be worn as a pendant. Each stone is prong set, not glued in. Sparke and shine in an elegant Victorian way. There are markings on the back that say THAI, other jeweler's marks, some marks I can't quite make out or that didn't get stamped well. I looked at this with a loupe though and there are 4 marquis shaped cabachon emeralds and more faceted rubies than I can count, not to mention the rest is filled with Marcasite, so this is at least 925 silver. Good weight. From my mother's estate jewelry and a smoke free home.
