Moritz Zdekauer - Altrohlau China; Sugar Bowl & Creamer Set Circa 1918-1939. Excellent Like New Condition; No Wear...this very Antique Sugar Bowl / Creamer set appears to never have been used, there's no wear, cracks, chips or glazing. Beautiful modern shape, in perfect condition With hand painted gold leaf. These can also be used to hold jewelry, they are beautiful on dressers and night stands; much more compact, easier to use & beautiful than a box. The covered sugar bowl is 4.5" in height & 6 3/8" wide. The creamer is 5 1/8" in length, 3" high & 4.25" wide. They are both Numbered with 1862, a gold leafed "4" and the Moritz Zdekauer Hallmark that proves the age of these pieces having both Czech & German Craftsmanship. In 1884 Moritz Zdekauer purchased the factory. The letters "MZ" have been maintained in the logo ever since, including being on the factory building today. In 1909 C.M. Hutschenreuter, the Hohenberg, Germany porcelain manufacturer, became the owner, and named it Altrohlau Porcelain Factories (Altrohlauer Porzellanfabriken).
